- Identify key phases of an OSHA inspection: the opening conference, inspection, and closing conference
- Identify the most frequently cited violations and average penalties for small businesses
- Identify and define types of incidents: near misses/hits, injuries, property damage, equipment/product damage, and illnesses
- Recognize how incident reporting will prevent fatalities, injuries, and illnesses
- Identify the three phases, related steps and guidelines of safety inspections: planning, conducting, and follow-up
- List items/areas to inspect and issues to consider when planning an inspection in a workplace scenario
