SUMMARY:Fremont National Bank Hometown Gingerbread Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Fremont National Hometown Gingerbread Challenge is seeking entries. Fremont National Bank sponsors the annual fundraising event and hosts its popular public display.  In conjunction with the MainStreet of Fremont Christmas Walk\, the free public display will be held on Friday\, November 25th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at 152 East 6th Street.\n\n	Entrants submit a gingerbread house or similar edible decorative item for display.  They receive a participation gift and compete for prizes in each age category\, adults and youths age 18 and under.  Two youths and two adults will win gift baskets from Fremont National Bank for the top entries.  Peoples' Choice Awards acknowledge the entries attracting the highest donations\, and Judges' Choice Awards are given to the most beautiful entries in each category.  \n\n	During the evening display\, visitors place monetary donation votes to decide the people's choice winners.  Donations go to the specific local nonprofit organization chosen by each entrant. Fremont National Bank matches donations up to $100 for each local nonprofit organization.\n\n	Schools and nonprofit clubs are encouraged to participate in this fundraising opportunity by asking a member to submit an entry to benefit the group.  \n\n	Entry forms are available in all Fremont National Bank lobbies.  Registration deadline is November 23rd\, while delivery deadline is noon on the day of the event.
