Kim recently retired as a Professor of Dental Hygiene for 30 years at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park\, KS where she taught subjects that included pharmacology\, local anesthesia\, radiology\, nitrous oxide sedation\, dental anatomy\, oral histology\, ethics\, jurisprudence as well as being the senior dental hygiene clinic coordinator. Kim has worked with many medically compromised patients with various oral health issues.\n\nKim's Wellness Talk on oral health will cover the most common oral diseases (decay\, periodontal disease\, and oral cancer). You will learn about these oral diseases as well as systemic links to oral health. Discussion of various medications and their effects on oral health will be open for questions. Dry mouth/xerostomia will be included in Kim's talk and some sample products for dry mouth will be handed out. Please come join Kim in learning more about the importance of your oral health.
