DESCRIPTION:Members and investors of the Greater Fremont Development Council and the Fremont Area Chamber are invited for an update on Heartland 2050 with Greg Youell of Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA).\n\nHeartland 2050 (H2050) connects people through regional thinking providing a roadmap for strategic and proactive efforts across the greater Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area.  Working collaboratively across jurisdictions can reduce redundancies and identify opportunities to leverage assets to save taxpayer dollars. H2050 will cultivate networks across issue areas that include public and private sectors.  The Vision is a catalyst for attention to regional\, big-picture issues that can otherwise take a back seat to day-to-day concerns at the local level.\n\nRSVP includes lunch.
