We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide a wide range of teller services, including opening new accounts, for our customers while providing an amazing customer experience.  Becoming a Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a great way to get a glimpse into the broad world of finance and banking.

As a Floater CSR/New Accounts Representative you will operate a teller window and provide prompt, efficient and accurate customer service while representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner.  This position is full-time with an expectation to work 40 hours per week and every other Saturday.  Reliable transportation is required as you will travel to any of the RVR Bank locations.  You will predominately travel between our Parkview Office, Downtown Office, Main Office, and our Walmart Office.  You will occasionally travel between our Arlington Office and Blair Office.

Hours:  Monday-Friday hours of operation of offices.  Saturdays are on a every other rotation of 7:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  This position travels between branches as assigned to assist customers with a variety of transactions.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Opens and maintains a cash drawer.
  • Processes customer transactions, including receiving deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing receipts, installment loan payments, making withdrawals, cashing checks, scanning work, and providing customer account printouts and open consumer and business deposit new accounts independently, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Reconciles mail drop and night depository.
  • Investigates discrepancies and makes corrections as needed.
  • Prepares cashier’s checks, money orders, gift cards as requested.
  • Balances transactions at the end of the day and verifies cash totals.
  • And other miscellaneous duties as needed.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service and money handling experience preferred, but willing to train successful candidates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand, walk, carry, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift heavy amounts of coins (=50 lbs.).

Prior to hire, we do background screening and drug testing.  This is required.  Must have a valid driver’s license.
