This position is one that works under the employment of DPA Auctions. You will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads all across the United States. As an Auction Specialist you will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.

Job Overview

The job role of an Auction Specialist is to generate new business and sales for the company in the industry. This includes speaking with professionals across the Ag, Transportation and Construction Industries on using DPA Auctions for all of their buying and selling needs. You will need facilitate clients in the sale of the machinery, oversee marketing efforts, assist in appraisals, and retain your clients for future auction buying and selling needs.

Responsibilities

  • Generate business by finding equipment to sell from existing clients
  • Generate business by finding equipment to sell from new leads
  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects to turn into clients
  • Stay on top of industry trends to stay on top of business growth
  • Learn trends of what certain equipment will sell for on our auctions
  • Update DPA Auctions on any new client information
  • Stay in contact with Territory Regional Manager with current clients and prospects
  • Attend all strategic and creative meetings

Skills Required

  • Sales Experience or a desire to do sales

  • Good grammar and can conduct well thought out emails

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year, plus performance-based commissions
