First State Bank & Trust Co./Whitetail Run Junior Boys & Girls Golf Tournament

The 21st Annual First State Bank & Trust Co./Whitetail Run Junior Boys & Girls Tournament will be held Friday, July 12th beginning at 8 a.m. at Whitetail Run Golf Course. 

The Junior Tournament is broken into five categories within the girls division and the boys division.  Golfers age 6-8 will play in a three hole tournament while golfers age 9-10, and 11-12 girls will play a six hole tournament.  A nine hole tournament will be played by the 11-12 boys, 13-14 and 15-17 age groups.

A free golf clinic will be held for the 10 and under participants.  The youth players will go out to the range to talk about their form and grip and the simple small things they can do to make their game easier.

There is no entry fee for the tournament, although pre-registration is required.  Participants must be a resident of Fremont, go to school in Fremont or be a member of Whitetail Run, Valley View or Fremont Golf Club.  A lunch and trophy presentation will cap off the golf tournament.
