These days, smart technology allows us to do more than ever from our phones. That includes protecting and keeping our homes safe. You can shut the garage door from the airport or speak to someone at the front door from across the country. Smart devices can simplify, innovate and secure your home. U.S. Cellular will offer a free Device Workshop to help people explore ways to protect and be in communication with their homes while away. During the workshop, U.S. Cellular associates will demonstrate smart home devices, their uses and importance to keep one’s home safe and monitored, even while away on vacation. This Device Workshop is open to the public, regardless of your wireless provider. “Our associates are available to show residents some trending smart home devices and how to best utilize them,” said Mike Adams, U.S. Cellular’s director of sales for Nebraska and Iowa. “Through this workshop, we hope to show people that smart technology plays an important role in keeping your home safe, whether you are away for the weekend or on spring break with your family.” For more information, you may call 402-721-3707.
