Now that summer vacation is finally here, families look for fun and educational activities to enjoy with their children. Keeping students engaged and learning while still having fun is a big priority for families today, but discovering new educational ideas can often be challenging. Apps, e-books, online educational videos and Internet access can all enhance the learning experience while away from the classroom. With cutting-edge devices, such as the 4G LTE iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2, families can connect in a different way this summer. According to a recent U.S. Cellular survey, 76 percent of smartphone owners also own a tablet. U.S. Cellular wants to show you the tips and tricks of using your device to the fullest for summer vacation. U.S. Cellular will offer a free Device Workshop, where current or potential smartphone users can ask questions and learn about any device. The workshop is open to everyone. You don?t have to be a U.S. Cellular customer to attend. ?We want residents to feel confident they can get the most out of their devices, while enjoying their summer,? said Erryn Andersen, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in Nebraska and Iowa. ?No matter if you are stuck indoors on a rainy day, hanging out poolside or traveling coast to coast, your device allows you to stay connected and entertained this summer.? Anyone who attends the workshop will have the opportunity to win an iPad Mini 3, which will be awarded each month from Device Workshops throughout the country. Please call 402-721-3707 to RSVP.
