2012 Career Day
Since 2008, the Fremont Area Career Development Coalition has held a spring career day at Midland University in Fremont. Over the past four years, more than 2,300 high school sophomores have attended the one-day event. The event is filled with opportunities for students to gain more knowledge about their career interests and prepare them for their post high school experiences.
Because of past success, the coalition has decided to continue its efforts in providing a positive, learning experience to all high school sophomores from Archbishop Bergan Catholic, Arlington, Bennington, Bishop Neumann Catholic, Cedar Bluffs, Dodge, Douglas County West, Fremont High, Fremont Learning Center, Logan View, Mead, North Bend Central, Scribner-Snyder, Wahoo High and Yutan.
2012 Career Day event will be held on Tuesday, March 20 at Midland University in Fremont. The event will begin with registration from 8:50-9 a.m. and end with a 2:00 p.m. departure. Students will hear from motivational speakers plus attend career and enrichment sessions of their choice. In addition, there will be a lunch break that will give students the opportunity to visit the variety of career booths on display.
