You can make your own herbal remedies using herbs you grew in your own backyard.  It's easy!  Rachel Liester, herbalist at Red Road Herbs in rural Stanton county, presents information on many easy-to-grow herbs and provides samples of each.  She also explains how to harvest and store your herbs and demonstrates how to make simple herbal remedies to keep you and your family healthy.
 
Rachel has been growing herbs, harvesting wild herbs and making herbal medicines for over 20 years.  She has over 100 herbs growing at Red Road Herbs, where she offers garden tours, classes and herbal retreats May 1st - October 1st.
