Metal Recycling Event

A metal recycling event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ilgenfritz Parking Lot located at 4th and Park Avenue (just south of the Kavich Parking Ramp). Accepted items include pipes and metal tubing, aluminum doors and windows (remove glass from aluminum screen doors and windows before you bring them to the drop site), cast iron sinks and tubs, car parts, lawnmowers, clean tin cans and broken bicycles. Hot water heaters are the only appliance that will be accepted at the drop site. Absolutely NO fluorescent light fixtures will be accepted.
