Customer Service Representative
We’re currently hiring for several Customer Service Representative (CSR) positions across our branch network, including a Floating/Traveling CSR role, full-time openings at our Walmart, Arlington and Main Fremont office, and a part-time position at our Main Office Drive-Thru in Fremont. As a Customer Service Representative with RVR Bank you will be responsible for providing customers with prompt, professional and courteous customer service in handling customers, depositing and withdrawing money and recording details of the transactions. Relieve tellers who are absent in whatever capacity and location needed. Requires extensive knowledge of all teller operations and flexibility in the performance of teller duties. Exercise independent judgement in some instances under limited supervision. The expectation, if full-time, is to work 40 hours per week and every other Saturday.
Essential Functions
• Provides outstanding customer service.
• Opens and maintains a cash drawer.
• Provides a complete range of customer services, including receiving deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing receipts, installment loan payments, making withdrawals, cashing checks, scanning work, and providing customer account printouts and open new accounts.
• Prepares cashier’s checks, money orders, gift cards as requested.
• Balances transactions at the end of the day and verifies cash totals.
• Promotes Bank products and services, including opening new accounts (excluded in Drive-Thru), explaining available products and services, and gathering customer information to process new and existing accounts.
• Stays abreast of all campaigns and promotions.
• Assists customers with their day-to-day financial needs.
• Opens and closes office by following established security procedures.
• Completes duties as assigned to the Branch.
• And other miscellaneous duties as needed.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge/ Experience:
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written).
• Word processing and computer database skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to job rotate with branch duties.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Other Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to be flexible as needed.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
