Customer Service Representative Part Time

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide a wide range of teller services, including opening new accounts, for our customers while providing an amazing customer experience. Becoming a Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a great way to get a glimpse into the broad world of finance and banking.

The Customer Service Representative position will be responsible for handling client relations, operating a teller window and providing prompt, efficient and accurate customer service while representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner. Reliable transportation is required.

Hours: The hours of the CSR (Part-time) position are every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday, 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. and every other Saturday, 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Some additional hours may be available, but not to exceed 30 hours.

Essential Job Duties:
Opens and maintains a cash drawer.
Processes customer transactions, including receiving deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing receipts, installment loan payments, making withdrawals, cashing checks, scanning work, and providing customer account printouts and open consumer and business deposit new accounts independently, efficiently, and accurately.
Reconciles mail drop and night depository.
Investigates discrepancies and makes corrections as needed.
Prepares cashier’s checks, money orders, gift cards as requested.
Balances transactions at the end of the day and verifies cash totals.
And other miscellaneous duties as needed.

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service and money handling experience preferred, but willing to train successful candidates.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to stand, walk, carry, and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to lift heavy amounts of coins (=50 lbs.).
